A spinoff from the popular SK6812MINI (without the -E), these LEDs have little legs on the side to make them easier to solder. These LEDs provide RGB backlighting to your keyboard, lighting up your switches and keycaps.

These SK6812MINI-E RGB LEDs come in a considerably small 3535 package size and can be controlled by your keyboard's firmware.

Specifications

  • Individually addressable: Set each LED to a different colour or brightness, making it suitable for animations.
  • Package: 3535, 3.5 by 3.5 millimeters.
  • Support: Supported by QMK and ZMK firmware.

Remarks

These LEDs are not interchangeable with the SK6212MINI LEDs (without the -E).

These LEDs require an appropriate footprint to exist on your keyboard. The Aurora series, among other kits, support these LEDs.

These LEDs are small and temperature sensitive, though less sensitive than their legless counterparts. You might want to get a few extras if possible.
