With these tactile buttons, you'll be able to reset your keyboard without having to reach for tweezers or fiddling with a wire. They're available in a model that can be pushed from the side, and one that can be pushed from the top. These models are widely used in many keyboard kits, including those sold at splitkb.com.

Compatibility

The side push button is the default for splitkb.com kits, and will be included by default - there's no need to purchase reset buttons separately, unless you're in need of a replacement. Please check the parts list (bill of materials) of the keyboard kit you're building to see which button is suitable for your build. It's possible that the part number is different but that the dimensions do fit.

The top push button is often used in kits based on designs like the Corne, Lily and Helix. If you're sourcing kits yourself, it'll often use a top push button.
