Now available in various colours: MBK blank keycaps! With scooped tops which hugs your fingertips, high corners to easily find keys, and a flat profile these keycaps will be sure to please both eyes and hands. The keycaps adhere to the standards of the Kailh keycaps, and so these keycaps will fit on all keyboards that support Kailh Choc switches.

These keycaps are made from injection moulded, coloured PBT plastic. This means that the colours will keep well for a long time: even if you use these keycaps daily for years and wear down the material, the insides will still be the same colour.

What's what?

  • A 1u keycap is the standard one: it covers one "unit", usually used for the letters and numbers on a keyboard.
  • A 1u homing keycap has a little ridge on the bottom with which you can feel where your homing position should be. On a QWERTY layout, homing keys are on the F and J positions. Usually, people will have two homing keys on a keyboard.
  • A 1u convex keycap has a different shape than the normal keycaps. A normal 1u keycap has a bit of a "bowl" shape to it, while a convex keycap has the bowl upside down: it has more rounded edge, making it comfier to use as thumb keycaps.
  • A 1.5u convex keycap is 1.5 "units" wide, it's about one and a half times as wide as a 1u keycap. For example, it's used for the outer thumb key on keyboards like the Corne, Lily58 and Sofle v2.

These keycaps fit on both Choc-spaced and MX-spaced keyboards.

Remarks
